We transformed three key areas of the home—the kitchen, basement, and upstairs bathroom—delivering significant aesthetic and functional upgrades while remaining within the original budget. Through excellent collaboration with the homeowners and a strong focus on value engineering, we carefully balanced design, functionality, budget, and timeline to create cohesive, high-impact results throughout the home.

In the kitchen, we achieved a dramatic refresh by replacing all countertops, installing new cabinet doors and hardware, adding a new backsplash, and painting throughout. To maximize value without sacrificing quality, we reused the existing cabinet boxes—an intentional value-engineering decision that significantly reduced costs while still delivering a completely updated look. Despite the challenges that come with a 100-year-old home, including uneven floors and walls, our team ensured a seamless installation and polished finish. The entryway was revitalized as well, featuring a custom accent wall that enhances the home’s character and creates a welcoming first impression.

The basement was transformed into a warm, inviting, and fully functional living space. We enclosed the mechanical room and created defined areas for laundry, storage, and a flexible-use room, turning what was once underutilized space into an operable extension of the home. New carpeting, improved heating, painted ceilings, new basement windows, and updated side and front doors all contributed to a cohesive and comfortable environment that feels intentional and finished.

Upstairs, the bathroom received a complete aesthetic upgrade focused on both style and functionality. We installed a new vanity and toilet, reglazed the existing tub, added a new tile surround, and painted throughout. Custom storage solutions were incorporated to improve organization and maximize space. As with the rest of the project, thoughtful planning and collaboration ensured the bathroom transformation enhanced the home’s overall aesthetic while staying aligned with the established budget and timeline.
